Stephen King on Writing & Short Stories vs. Novel Writing

Hey Everyone!

I hope you are all doing well!

I recently found this interview on youtube of Stephen King. He talks about short stories vs. novel writing. It's pretty interesting and it's only 5 minutes, perfect length for my attention span.

Check it out!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!!

  1. Interesting info - I wanted more of it - it seemed to end abruptly. Thanks for sharing.

  2. I love this clip. To think, you can just take a story and write it, without any thought about whether it will be a short story, novella, or novel, until you write it.

One thing I love about Stephen King is that he's so organic. It's like the stories come to hime and it's his job to do them justice. I think that's what true writers do--they don't screw up the stories that come to them.
