I'm touched so much by this, I don't even have the words. Now I'm all choked up! :-)
ReplyDeleteI loved reading the interview. Everything Heather says makes perfect sense with today's market, it is so nice to see the actual words.
ReplyDeleteThe book sounds awesome! So here is my comment/contest entry. :)
As far as my favorites go:
Fahrenheit 451 - banned for the use of swears through one high school
The Bluest Eye
There's a lot more out there that have been banned that I love, but I figured I'd just post two.
I can't believe that book is banned! Well honestly the whole IDEA of banned books seems so ridiculous to me. But either way Heather is a talented and thoughtful writer. She certainly has a lot of experience which shows in her interviews and writing. As for banned books I love Fahrenheit 451 like R.A. stated, Harry Potter, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer (it makes me want to be a kid again!) and many more.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
